I have been born in such a family where petrol runs in the veins rather than blood. My grandfather a rally champion owner of a Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen and the icing on the cake a BSA 650cc bike!!!!! My dad owner of a Honda CBR 600 a Yamaha YZ 350 and a Bullet. The sad part though is i am cursed with a bike by the name Discover 100, recession???? oh yeah!!!!! You see due to financial restraints i have to ride this sorry excuse for a motorcycle. But i love her okay she might not be the babe you go about flaunting to your friends but she is most definitely my companion in the bad times and you know those people are always special. I hate it when people ask why didn't you buy a better bike???? I mean what kind of a question is that??? Well let me tell you its the same reason as to why your dad has been gifting you toy ferraris on your birthday till now, takes you out to china town for dinner claiming thats its really fancy and when he was young he didn't have enough money to drool at the menu hung outside, takes you out for window shopping saying that its "shopping without spending" yes money matters and you should keep that in mind before asking or commenting like you are Siddharth Mallya.
However many of you might think i've had a fall from grace, yes true!!! But i want to build up my own biking life, my own dreams which is not financed by anyone else but myself. The road ahead might be bumpy and preacrious and my bike can be nicknamed "the snail" but as we all know the slow and steady already won the race i just have to follow the turtles footsteps.
