The message read "I'm sry i cudn't say anything last night i was afraid, Roshni" Ron was vexed with an array of thoughts, contradicting, puzzling.
At first he couldn't believe his eyes and then he couldn't believe her and finally he couldn't believe himself. He felt warm after all these months of traumatic incidents, he finally felt true warmth. But then he was skeptical, scared that it might only be momentary.
Ron wanted to call her but an inner voice prohibited such reckless and immediate action.
He thought this is the same girl who shattered my heart, made my days miserable, filled my life with booze and marijuana and the worst part was she made me a part time "Satan worshipper", Ron laughed at the last one.
He thought of one guy then, his close friend Arjun who always had a solution for him, who always filled up the place of a brother in his heart. But Arjun was strange these days, he was hardly himself, he spent most of his time grooming himself to be what he called a "superior power".
Yet Ron thought Arjun would still be at his aid whenever he required. Ron called.
A husky and sleepy voice said "Bol". "Are you sleeping?, its 11 in the morning man" Ron said.
"Yeah fuck that shit, don't try and be my mom, what is it?" asked Arjun rudely.
"Listen its important, i really wish you could listen to me carefully" said Ron
"What is it, you sick again?" asked Arjun
"No man, its her, she called last night" said Ron.
"Who called? Why don't you get to the point? said an irritated Arjun.
"Roshni ,she was giving blank calls last night and she left a message this morning" Ron said and told Arjun the exact message.
Arjun now sounded a little excited he loved these kind of situations where he could shower expertise of his own personal experiences.
"So what the fuck are you doing calling me, just call her and ask what she wants" said Arjun.
Ron was relieved to hear this as he himself wanted to call her, badly!.
But before Ron hung up Arjun said just one thing "keep it light".
Ron dialled her number as quickly as possible his heart was pacing once again.
"Hello" answered a young female voice.
the story is taking a dramatic course. Very good going... :)
